If there’s a way to trick people out of money, someone has thought of it and attempted it. Case in point, there are some misguided individuals who are, at this very moment, trying to scam people out of their hard earned money using the unclaimed money scam. The scam works like this.
A person will walk up to you or call you on the phone and ask, “Would you like to actually find unclaimed money?” The person will explain that you may have missing or unclaimed money sitting in a treasury vault somewhere and that all you have to do to claim it is pay them a small fee.

If you do, then think again!! I thought it was a scam too, unless a few members of my family received checks for their unclaimed money in the mail!
