Pennsylvania state treasurer, Rob McCord, has been urging public schools to see if they have any unclaimed money. His efforts have paid off, because over $12,000 has been returned to schools in Pennsylvania, in the form of unclaimed money.
In the midst of budget cuts for most school districts, McCord has been trying hard to return unclaimed money back to the local schools. There is still money to be returned to many different school districts, in which McCord has been working heavily to try to return it.
