Louisiana Holds Millions in Insurance Rebates

Just announced today by Louisiana Insurance Commissioner, Jim Donelon, the state of Louisiana holds over $270 MILLION in unclaimed Louisiana insurance rebates. Just last week, Donelon issued notices to the owners of these rebates, in hopes they will turn up to claim their unclaimed money.

Legislators have passed a law that gives the owners a 4 year window to claim back their money. If it is not claimed in 4 years, that money will be turned over to the state, and used for a number of state initiatives.
