Indiana’s Office of the Attorney General is looking for the owners of unclaimed money the state is holding on to. According to Jamie Barb, the Public Information Officer for the Unclaimed Property Division of the Attorney General, the state of Indiana has been among the few states making an effort to return unclaimed money back to its owners.

Currently, Indiana has $380 million in unclaimed money. The state has been advertising unclaimed money in local newspapers throughout the state.
