Illinois State Treasurer Reaching Out to Citizens About Unclaimed Money

The state treasurer of Illinois, Dan Rutherford, made an appearance in Oakbook Terrace to inform the citizen about unclaimed money, and the Cash Dash. Cash Dash is the state’s initiatives to return unclaimed money.

Currently, Illinois is sitting on $1.5 BILLION in unclaimed money, and many items left behind from safety deposit boxes.
