We are dedicated to providing the most up to date, largest searchable database of lost money to the public. Our team of researchers work round the clock, continuously updating the database with newly located money. Our database includes over $3 Billion in unclaimed cash belonging to more than 200 million people. This money includes unclaimed funds from all 50 states, federal agencies and treasury departments.
Members:
Our site is the most trusted resource for locating unclaimed money and property. Members can search an unlimited amount of names and have access to the detailed results of each search name. There are instructions, contact information and downloadable claim forms to assist the member with submitting the claim for their found money. They can also access downloadable ebooks, guides and software including items relating to business, real estate, investing, computers, money & finance.
History:
Cash Unclaimed was created in 2002, by founder, Bill McIntosh. Cash Unclaimed was constructed to provide assistance to the public in locating their lost funds.
Mr. McIntosh realized the public was lacking a single source database they could easily searched to find their lost money. People had to search each state, or worse, were only searching the state they lived in and not finding money that was owed to them. We assembled a team of researchers who were tasked with the job of researching unclaimed funds state-by-state. Our team has created the largest, single source searchable database.
The next enhancement was searching. People were searching only their commonly used name and not locating money owed to them because it was under a variation of their name. Cash Unclaimed programmers created smart name search technology. This would pull up not only the name entered but variations of that name which the account may have been under. For a few examples: A a search for Bill McIntosh would also find records listed under “William McIntosh” or another search for “John Smith” would also find J. Smith.
The database alone was not enough to assist people in claiming there money. We identified a need to simplify the claim process. Cash Unclaimed compiled claim instruction and all claim forms needed for a person to submit the claim for their lost funds. These forms and instructions are available to all members.
Cash Unclaimed became the only complete source for claiming missing money.
We have put a great deal of research and hard work into creating and maintaining the most up to date, largest, single source site to search for unclaimed money.
Future:
Cash Unclaimed has a research team that is adding missing money to the database daily. We are forecasting that our searchable database will exceed $6 Billion dollars of unclaimed money belonging to over a quarter billion people in the near future!
