Reported on rgj.com, the state of Nevada is looking for owners of unclaimed property. Nevada State Treasurer, Kate Marshall, recently initiated “Operation Claim It”, which launches her push for the residents to come forward and claim their unclaimed money.

Currently, over $400 million is being held in unclaimed money by the Nevada State Treasurer. Of that, over $1 million is unclaimed savings bonds. There are 5 amounts of unclaimed money that is between $138,000 and $151,000!

Other forms of unclaimed money are unclaimed utility deposits, unclaimed bank accounts, and unclaimed rebates or refunds.
