New York Has $11 Billion Still in Unclaimed Funds
A recent news article announced that the state of New York currently has $11 million in unclaimed funds sitting with the government.
In order to inform the public about unclaimed money, Senator David Carlucci and State Comptroller Thomas DiNapoli hosted an Unclaimed money Forum to educate the public on unclaimed money, and offered the attendants to find out if they had any unclaimed money of their own.
New York’s state government has been hard at work trying to return this unclaimed money back to its owners. The best way to search for unclaimed money is with CashUnclaimed.com, the largest unclaimed money database in the world.
